I need to start trying for a baby as I'm 37 but also want to ge married - help

I am already engaged and want to be married before I have a baby.

At least wait until about 2 months before the wedding, until you start trying to get pregnant. That way if you do happen to get pregnant right away, you won't be showing for the wedding.

First, 37 is not so old anymore. There have been several cases of people over 50 and 60 that were able to have children on the news. People are just healthier now and able to have babies longer than in the past.
Go ahead and get married, if you've found the right person. Is this the kind of person that you would want to be bound to by a child, if it doesn't work out.
Are they considerate to other people (like waitresses, etc)? If not, they are not going to be considerate to you if you should ever break up.
How many times have they been married in the past? How many other children does this person have?
First thing to worry about is making sure you have a good marriage. And that takes effort. You can give it more effort the first year or two, if you do not also have to take care of a child. And some husbands do get jealous of their own children.

Are you engaged? If so, just wait until your wedding night to start trying for a baby. If you're not, don't pressure someone to get married for that purpose...it would never work out and then your child would have to go through the drama of a divorce.

Get married first! You will have more energy for it. If your trying to squeeze these two huge things into the one year definately the wedding first.Babies take up so much energy and time. You will be able to have time to yourselves,drink champagne,where a dress that you really love and have something really wonderful to look forward to without having to drop the pregnacy wieght, in fact you can kick back and relax and enjoy the man and the baby.
Personal experiance from two weddings to two different fathers of my babies tells me so.Im a very happy mum and wife .

Get married and then get pregnant. You can start trying a couple of months before the wedding but not much before, you want to drink a toast at the wedding.

Im in the same situation. Go for a low key wedding. Ask freinds and family to help out with organising and providing things for your wedding that way you can save on money for when the baby arrives.

Either you marry someone who wants a baby or have baby then get married.
I firmly believe that husband and wife should not fight with mouth instead with their things in between.
