well here in wyoming they do not drug test officers because (as they explained cause I asked) is that they are exposed to it when they do busts or in houses and in all sort of situations. It would be useless to drug test them as they might be dirty.

I do not know where you got the info that cops are not drug tested but they are. It is something that all Americans face. I am curious to see how many police officers you know that are dopeheads.

All departments I know of have very heavy drug testing for police officers, in the departments I was associated with, most officers were tested several times a year, with no notice at all. They reported for duty and was ordered to go test.

Cop get drug tested here where i live once a month. I have to get tested every two months because i work in a jail. So yes we do get tested.

They do in most city's it is a local government issue.
