Yes, I have done this to fish my kitten out of a tree. I used a ladder though, does that count?

I would climb up a tree to rescue anything but CATS!

It would depend on the placement of the branches to climb on, and of course whether it was a nice cat or not. I may not be as inclined if the cat is hissing at me. Then I would just call the owner to do it :P

I climbed a tree for exciting and fell out of it 30 feet. Thank god for the branches. i don't understand how yet I stuck on to a branch. i wager a 12 months in the previous a baby fell out of a similar tree and died. Creepy huh?

Na... I don't really like cats...I am allergic to the there dander.. But if it was a life and death situtation I would reconsider.. =)

no, cats r natural climbers, and if they can climb up, they can jump down.(unless it was my cat of course)
