No...it causes raisins in babies. If you give a baby raisins, you'll get raisins out the other end. They can't digest them.

Raisins and prunes are actually good for constipation. They contain lots of fiber. I your baby is constipated you doctor might actually recommend giving the prune baby food.

not sure how old your baby is but should not be giving them raisins till they are after one year old. it should not cause constipation and are actually a good source of vitamin c.

I don't think so. But raisins are considered a choking hazard for babies so be careful, I'm not sure how old the baby you are referring to is.
