I want to give a friend a portrait of her dog as a Christmas gift. I know it's a bit early to be thinking about Christmas, but these things can take a while!

I would suggest that you get a photograph from the pet's owner and have a copy put on canvas. This would be a fantastic present. I recently did this with a photograph of my wife which I took 25 years ago when we first married. I was staggered by the quality of the canvas made from an old photo.
