If it were rectangular or triangular it wouldn't be a sphere.

A sphere is completely round, like a ball. A square has four equal sides and a triangle three sides. Not possible.

Well if you take a square you can bring one corner out further, and stretch it in the 3rd dimension, off the paper, which would make a trisquangle.
And If you have a globe and you pull tiny little corners out like mountains, that would give you a rectspherngal
