DONT EVER COMPROMISE YOURSELF FOR ANYONE! Let him go it is clear he does not want to change. If he was clean for 1 1/2 yrs then he shouldve stayed clean. If you want to stay clean let him go before he brings you down. You will only be as good as the ppl you surround yourself with ,let him go.

At least he told you and is not trying to hide it, he is (maybe probably) being honest with you so that is something to respect. If we are talking heorin or crack or any of the majorly adictive drug i would keep an eye on him for a while just to make sure trying it again did not trigger an addiction. Talk to him it seems like you have an open realationship so work it out it is probably worth it.

You can give him the benefit of the doubt but make your stand clear. If he shows signs of use (marks, paraphernalia, physical signs etc) then let him know you will not stand for it and that you are out of the relationship. You want to move forward not back and drugs are dream killers and life has too much to offer. Take care and good luck.

you can't give up drugs and then "try" it later on. all he's doing is giving in to his addiction.

everyone should be given a second chance, but he's blown his. I'd say you should move on.

someone without a drug history would be better for you. He has already started back be selfish and look out for yourself because he will not be able to.

No, move on . I've been in the situation, they lie and continue the drugs. I'm sure he will cause you grief if you stay with him.
