Gaining a self confidence isnt that hard and isnt that easy.. It is in the state of your mind.. If you think positively, confidence will flow to you naturally.. Start thinking "if others can, why cant I?" Always remember we are born unique, each person has talent. Its just how you will nurture it.
Dont care what people say and think about what you are doing. If in yourself you know it is right, then you dont have to worry about..
Love yourself...having a self confidence plays big role in yourself.. Think about the famous people, because of that confidence thats how they are right now..
Its just a matter of time and practice.. You just need to start believe in yourself, NOW..

Start with something small. Find one tiny little thing you can do and do well. Then let other people know you do it. For instance, can you draw or paint? Can you play dominoes really well? Can you sing? Or play a musical instrument? Is there anything you can do that you can become really good at doing?
Self-confidence comes from seeing that you can and do contribute something to the community you live in. If you don't have anything you can do, take lessons to learn something. One thing you might consider learning is sign language for deaf people (Amerslan). Not only is this very rewarding work, it pays pretty well and there are plenty of places to find work. Another thing you might consider is volunteering at nursing homes, or your local Animal shelter, or at elementary schools or hospitals. These places all need people to help out.
Once you have a couple of things under your belt, you'll be able to look at your life with less trepidation and see that you can and do make a difference!
Don't isolate yourself. There will always be someone better off than you in the universe, but there will always be someone who is WORSE off, too. Hang around with people who are self-confident and you'll see that they're not perfect and you're not the opposite!

Self confidence has to come from (where else?) yourself. I know ho easy it is to obsess about how other people view you, but if you focus that obsessive energy into something creative, you will think less about others' thoughts and more about what you're doing. And who knows? You just may find something you didn't know you were good at.
The other thing is to talk positively to yourself in your head. If you constantly douse your brain in negative thoughts (like "I'm fat" or "That was so stupid of me" or "I'll never have a friend" or "I'm not good at anything" ), that's how you'll think and you'll always be down. If you say positive, believable things to yourself (like "I may not be good at this, but I just started, so that's understandable...i can get better" or "It's what's inside that matters, because I can't control how I look") Then you'll start to think positively about yourself and the world around you.

if you want to increase your self confidence do the task which you feared to do you have to kill your all fears to gain your self confidence
you have to know your capabilities for this try more and more to get ahead from some one but in the right way

What is there to be afraid of? The only thing that will happen is that you will die, and you are going to eventually anyway. So you might as well live life to the fullest now and not be afraid of anything.

Force yourself to do things you don't think you can. If you are shy, volunteer to do something that involves dealing with a lot of people.
