First of all how old are you? Depending on your age, he could just want his cake and eat it too. Which is to say he doesn't want you but he doesn't want anyone else to have you either. Of course there is another though too. Is he into drugs? Drugs would answer his mood swings. Either way I would set back a survey what is going on before you make any rash decisions. You must remember that YOU are the most important person in this situation and you need to know what you want out of your relationship. If you think he is into drugs or booze but you still want to be with him you need to get professional help for him. If not then just play a wait and see attitude. Give him time to hang himself and then you will know for sure. Good Luck

Sounds like he doesn't know one emotion from another. He was only jealous, and wanted to be sure he was all you had, on the other hand, he wants to keep his distance in case you break his heart, or he is a controlling freak that wants attention from anyone.. He doesn't want to have a quote un quote girlfriend, because he is still browsing. You can do better than that.

He's playing safe with you. He has enough courage to show you how he feels but not brave enough to admit it and have a commitment with you. Maybe he only wants to have MU (mutual understanding) with you. Only you knows what to do on this matter. Good luck.
