It is pretty simple logic. You ask her out on a date. If she says 'yes' then you know that at least she is interested in spending time with you. If she says 'yes' to the second date then that is a logical indicator that she likes you. ETC.
PS. Many girls and women find the expression 'chick' to be disrespectful.

Well...I know a few things...well me being a chick and all...
1. They will stare at you sometimes...*guilty look*
2. If you walk by them at a lunch time, they're most probably talking about how cute you are...
3..Errr....They'll try and make conversation with you, but then bail out and get all embarrassed..
