why am I still alive?

Question

I tried wrecking an old truck into a tree doing 90 somthing. i tried jumping off a 12 story building. i think the only option left is shooting myself but any vital shot would prevent an open casket funeral do u have any suggestions?

I cannot tell whether you really did all that you say you have done, but if you did one thing is certain, you were not minding of the outcome. It didn't matter whether you died or not and least the impact it would have on others around you. This is a high degree of selfishness, selfcenteredness, lack of charity: call it anything. And it is what could have driven you into such adventure. Everybody can be useful to the society in one way or another. Try to explore those things that you could do to the society around you however humble and unrewarding even if society may not appreciate it. Let only the satisfaction that you are doing something useful motivate you. If you make it a habit and it becomes your lifestyle you will soon find that you are of great use around and people will begin to appreciate. Soon you will find them offering to pay for your direct or indirect services or even offer to employ you. You will start to find meaning and satisfaction in life. The beginning is to offer yourself out not for appreciation but as a duty without an apparent pay. In this way you will be getting out of your selfishness and individualism.

Now that your escapades are over leaving you not dead but alive, boy it is much worse for you because you have elevated yourself to a superstar. That pride will lead you to do something so rediculous that could cost the community dearly let alone yourself. This is because of your selfcenteredness.

You are alive and not dead because life has offered you opportunity to reform and be useful or charitable. Life gives all of us several opportunities. You could choose to abuse the offer but remmeber sooner or latter you will cause a hell to the community around you. Please use this opportunity wisely and reform with the guidlines I given above freel of charge. You need to grow in charity that is considering others around you and in due course you will be rewarded directly or indirectly. There will be a real change in your life.

Suicide is a selfish thing to do,you may think that it will solve your problem,but think about what it will do to the people in your life who love you and care for you.Take it from someone who really does understand because I have been there,I have struggled with severe depression since I was a child and I am 29yrs old now,married and have 2 beautiful children and other family and friends who are supportive and loving and as much as I may feel the urge,when it comes down to it,I won't because I know that it would hurt my family and I could never do that to them.So I struggel and I take medication and I try to live one day at a time because thats all you can do.

The same reason that I am, although I never tried to do myself in they were all accidents or sticky situations.
I've been in 12 car crashes, 4 motorbike crashes, run over twice, lost the sight in one eye, had a knife at my throat, been shot at, almost bled to death when I severed the main artery in my leg when a sheet off glass fell on it, chased by an angry mob of Muslims in the middle east who wanted to tear lumps out of me. All seperate incidents over a period of 10 years
Obviously there's something I have to accomplish, I don't know what it is, but it sure ain't my time yet.
By the way I'm not in the forces, just a civilian.

oki am a fatalist and believe that from the time you are born it is decided when you will die,the only uncertain thing is how
life is a lot of roads with little paths off each one gets us to the same place---the end but lifes choices decide how.
you have not completed your life yet,so give up on the suicide bit and talk more.

killing yourself is not an option

it is selfish

my bestfriend tried killing herself, 3 times, and it hurts everyone around them. i was unbelievably upset at the fact that she wanted to end her life.

if you want an open casket it is coz u have people that care about you that you want to be able to see you looking good after you die.

whatever the problem is you can get help for it. nobody is going to want you dead. go to your doctor or speak to somebody on the phone and talk about your problems. please do not kill yourself. i dont know you but i dont want you or people that know you going through the trauma of you committing suicide.

erm you have a big problem. get it sorted. dont kill yourself. if you have alots and lots of problems then sort them or move on with yourlife. you are obviously still alive because you are ment to stay alive for a bit longer. do something with your life.
