I don't know too many attractions in Guangzhou, because my impression of the city-- everybody is so rush, and they smells. But try to look for some foot massage places. They are cheap and they will make you miss the city so much. Anyhow, if you stay in a hotel, I would recommend you to stay in the White Swan Hotel. It's next to the U.S. embassy.

Brothels are really good in Guangzhou and the wild animals are good if you like a nice bit of game.

Best go to Hong Kong if you don't want to be mugged
