Do you think long distance relationships work?

A guy I went to high school with I just now found out he has a crush on me. We're talking now but he goes to college in Alabama, while I'm going to college in Georgia, where I live. Does anyone think It's be possible to pursue a relationship? So far, everything seems to be working out ok between us...

It's very hard to keep a long distance relationship believe me. But you can try with that guy if you really like him a lot. If you decided to give it a shot then you must be prepared to face many challenges, such as the desperation to seeing him, being with him and stuff like that. good luck :-)

It may, or may not. It depends on if you two can visit eachother enough, & care about eachother enough to stand the distance. It is rather a large distance. In my opinion, it's not likely to work. It seems fine now because you two aren't in the relationship stage yet. everything seems fine & dandy when it's the road leading there. Problems & flaws come out after. The distance will start to set in very quickly, & that will create tension & fustration. & since you two will devot alot of time to school, etc..what most of the relationship would likely be is phone/computer. & dreaming of what could be, & that's not much of one at all.

but in the end it's up to the both of you. A long talk is needed.

YESS! My boyfriends' dad took him 2 puerto rico 4 a family visit and then 2 newyork where he decided 2 live. In just 3 weeks i'll be on a plan so we can reunite. U say things are going well, why stop a good thing already in progress? I say keep your options open but "dont close the book untill you've read the story" Good luck!
