My Shar Pei used to get the hiccups all the time, and I found that startling her always worked. A little sugar water can do it, too.

My bull mastiff gets hiccups mostly when he wants attention. I know it sounds weird, but with in seconds of giving him attention he stops. He is very needy!!

When my dogs get the hiccups i "scare" them by just grabbing them while they are not paying attention to me....works everytime

TOO FUNNY!!! Give him a piece of food and some water, If that doesnt work, take him bye bye and tell him to stick his head out the window so he cant breath....thats a sure fire way!!

they get them sometimes just like we do. it will go away like ours do.
