It gives you crisp, smooth playback with all your DVD movies, concerts, and TV show box sets. If you've got a high-definition TV with a digital video input, this player can upgrade or "upconvert" its picture to match your TV screen's higher resolution when using the digital HDMI output. The SD-830's digital video connection helps keep signals pure, giving you better image quality — especially with a digital plasma, LCD, or DLP TV. This compact player is also equipped with a full set of analog video connections, so even if your TV doesn't have a digital video input, you can still enjoy a great DVD picture. Region free DVD player chipset and a built-in 16MB NTSC-to-PAL converter lets you enjoy movies from anywhere in the world on your NTSC television. You can also listen to your favorite tunes on audio CDs and MP3 and WMA (Windows Media Audio) mix discs. Digital audio outputs let you connect this player to your home theater system to enjoy exciting surround sound.
