I've heard of a fabric perhaps I could put it on my ceiling. This noise stop compound sounds even better if it's not two expensive, hoping it's like spakaling the ceiling (which I hate anyway since it's a popcorn ceiling. I've serached on line and was shocked on how few sites that have this type of thing available. I thugh it's be as easy as going to hoedepot .com and ordering it. All the sites I've seen require a "quote" before you can order. The constant level of noise coming from this couple is driving me batty and with no other "room" to go to there is no escape. Now at the constant hum of their new habit of leaving a fan on all night at it's highest level probably on the floor my ceiling (earplugs don't block out this noise, nor sound machines nor turning up the tv) Once I thought they were moving. I see now that the noise level went up when they moved out their fouton, then the windows rattle when they stomp across the floor the dog running in circles are the least of these.

Well I moved last time because I have a BAND above me and construction of a next house next to ( I mean 3 feet from) my apartment. I asked the landlord if it was quite before I signed the lease. He said yes. After I signed the lease he told me two gay guys live upstairs. Actually i found out they moved in the same month I did! Between the three someone is always home you'd think their place was huge the way they rattle the windows when they walk. We're talking aboiut a studio here. How many times to you need to pace from wall to wall! No one is ever gone for more than a hour (at least not when I'm home) how do I know? Their door of course slamming closed usually at about 3am. Weekdays they make the most noise form 11pm to 4am.God forbid if I had a normal job. If only I lived upstairs. It must be bliss to not have people stomping across your ceiling. I asked my fellow neighbors if they ever hear me and to let me know if I ever play anything to loud etc. They say they NEVER hear me.

Have you discussed this with your landlord? The police? Have you looked into moving. This sounds miserable. I wish I could help you with the material you're looking for, but I've never heard of it. Have you tried going to somewhere like Home Depot and asking about the material? They may be able to at least help you find out what it is, and where to find it. Good luck.

Blast your music except some stuff they don't like, Blast some classical, or pop in some porn sounds. Or if your extra dirty, pretend to be a cop saying that there is a warrent out for their arrest and maybe they will skip town

Yeah, well my upstairs neighbors aren't that bad but- you can hear when the kids are running around or when they run their water. This drives my dog nuts which drives me nuts because it's hard to get him to stop barking! And my neighbors next door to me like to turn the base up on their music! Ah! Neighbors! Can they just go away?

Hehe. You said HOE DEPOT.

Wouldn't that be a great name for a whorehouse?

Are you sure this substance exists?
