I have this friend that I really like... I mean we basically flirted all the way through High School. He use to tell people he was going to marry me and I was going to be Marine wife ( because he is a Marine now) but I never got the chance to tell him how I really felt about him and now I think that it is too late... What should I do

Communication! Why people don't get this part of any relationship I will never understand.
Here is the dilema you face in your situation. First, how important is his friendship to you. The problem is this, if the two of you have a great friendship, by letting him know how you feel in regards to taking it to the next level, there is a chance that the friendship will never be the same. Now if the two of you flirted all the way through high school and he used to tell people he was going to marry you, why was the friendship barrier never crossed? Also, have both of you been dating other people prior to him joining the marines? There are soo many things to look at when trying to get answers. Bottomline is this... if you have strong feelings for him and want to be in a loving relationship with him, COMMUNICATE!

That is so sweet. I think you may need to contact him and let him know how you feel. Good luck, has he got a gal now if not go for it,also you have to look to the future also. Do you see yourself with him years down the track.

why is it too late, is he married or engaged, if that is it then you should let him go. But if it is just because he is casually dating then you still have a chance you should let him know how you feel maybe he feels the same way as well, but you will never feel rigth till you get it off ur chest,

call him up and find out if hes married now or wats going on in his life right now..if hes not then ask him out! if things go as well as they did in high school then u guys will probably get along really well! good luck!

Speak up and say something as soon as you can. I let my high school friend go without telling him how I felt. I regret it sometimes.

i would say it is never to late to tell the person how u feel because u wont have to worry about the pain u have inside of u from not askin that person how u really feel for them from ur heart
