Hi! I had installed MS OFfice XP on my PC about 1 or 2 years ago. Its all working fine and all the softwares -Word, Excel, FrontPage and all opens up absolutely fine. But, when I look up in Program files, the folder with the name MS Office is of only 3.72 MB. There are other folders too like Microsoft Frontpage (685 KB), MS Money (37 MB), MS Works (35 MB). But there is no mention of MS Word or Access and others. Is there any other place where Office is stored? Please help me! I need to know.

Try searching the computers files. Start > Search > Microsoft Office.

If you have a license key, you could simply download the trial software from Microsoft and install it again, but inputting your Serial when asked to do so.

Good luck!

It will be in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 11

If there arent too many files there, it means that you had installed Office on some other folder (or maybe another drive like D: ).

You can do a search on your computer for winword.exe and you will find where office is installed.

Alternatively, in Start Menu, you can rt click on the shortcut of Word and see the properties. You will find the full path there.

this is where your ms Office should be "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office" just search for this folder and see that the folder should be about 122 MB. if still u don't find it then open my computer and search for winword.exe. If u find this in any folder then that is where u MS office is. simple

hello,

MS office shortcuts are usually stored at
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft Office

but if you still can't find them, try searching for it using your windows xp tools

start, search, files & folders

key in something like "microsoft frontpage"

hope this helps. :)

C: >>Program Files>>Microsoft Office>>Office 10>>Winword.exe

You can even put this into the command line:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\WINWORD.EXE"
