After you've teased your hair, you can use a brush with closely-placed bristles to gently smooth down the hairs on top. If there is any "knottiness" it will be hidden underneath and nobody will notice!

If you tease the underneath sections of your hair you can comb the upper sections smooth. Tease one section, comb the next and keep alternating and you'll get some pretty big hair. I must warn you thought, its a pain to comb out when you are finished.
