we are planning on getting tatooes of our names, someone please help! I cant find anything online that translates this without charging an outragous fee. Thanks.

please dont judge me either as the one rude women did. I have my reasons for it being in Hebrew, one is that Im converting to judiasm, so therefore dont know hebrew fluently. I am not asking for peoples opinions, just some help.

The correct spellings are:
Julie -- ג'ולי
Cari -- קרי -- NOT קארי, because if you add that extra letter, it means "curry" (the spice!)

"Julie" and "Cari" are not Hebrew names, so how they are rendered in Hebrew can be arbitrary. There is no 'j' sound in Hebrew, although as another poster showed, you can convert the Hebrew letter gimmel (×) by putting a dash on it, which is read as a 'j' sound.
Luckily neither of your names means something offensive or silly in Hebrew!

If you are converting to Judaism you will choose or recieve a Hebrew name when you officially convert -- you may want to hold off until that happens -- but remember that the Jewish religion does not really approve of tattoos, so getting a tattoo to mark your conversion might strike some people as odd.

GO TO "HEBREW WRITING" ONLINE OR GET ON A CHAT LINE WITH JEWS OR RELIGION OR SPEND A LITTLE TO GET THE CORRECT WAY OF TRANSLATION. IF YOU'RE GETTING TATTOOS, WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO HAVE IT IN HEBREW? REMEMBER, THIS COULD BE A PERMANENT THING, DON'T LOOK STUPID!!! I WOULD THINK THAT IF YOU WERE REALLY INTO HEBREW, YOU WOULD ALREADY KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!!

if you're converting to judaism i think you should know that getting a tattoo is prohibited by jewish law.
