Not only is Wicca, what most refer to as witchcraft, mainstream it is the fastest growing religion in the US. According to American Religious Identification Survey Neo-Paganism, of which Wicca is part of, is the 7th largest organized religion and the 10th largest religious grouping in the US. So yes, it is mainstream and growing faster.

Adherents.com also lists it in the top ten of religious groups in the US as well. (http://www.adherents.com/rel_USA.html ) These polls also show that 94% of Wiccans are registered to vote, far above the national average (http://www.cog.org/ ). So yes, we are very much mainstream!

It's listed in the US Army Chaplin's Handbook for Religions. That means that they recognize it and have to provide for Wiccans and Pagans on bases all around the world, just as they do for Christians and other faiths. It is even put on the dog tags if they so desire.

Trippy, huh?
