I notice that their are several people out their that don't understand how to get close to God, or to understand the bible.

In the bible something that help me in my beginning walk with Christ Jesus was this simple saying that is in the bible...

I am proof it works, cause the bible was a lot of words that made KNOW since to me at all...

But I was told to pray for God to help you understand what you are reading, pray that you get the true meaning of the Word of God, and

Knock and the door will be open? Seek and you fill find, Ask and you shall recieve, only if you believe and have faith...

If you don't understand the bible, have you ask God to help you?

If invisible spirits are answering your questions I suggest you speak to someone in the real world about it. There are medications for it. EDIT: I searched for god and found myself. There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting. Buddha I suggest you keep searching... I have no book. The quote you used gave me the courage to search and the following quote guided me... Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it. Buddha You don't need a book to find truth, you are living it whether you're aware of it or not.

Yes. But may I say that it is difficult to understand the Bible if you don't want to do what it says. It becomes like reading Kant.

It's not that I don't believe in him or don't understand the Bible...Because I do...I just know that I don't need a book to listen to God...People look down upon me because I do not go to church like all other people...Everyone has their beliefs and I am one who talks to him w/o having to include the rest of the liberal world who likes to argue on the subject of religion...He has helped me in ways I never thought I would ever have help in...To me...We pray...Even if we do not step into his house, the church that he did not build with his two hands...He still knows we are here and he does answer each one of us in diff ways...He never sends out straight answers to you...He just provides a lil push and some options to go ahead...Just like other human beings here on earth can supply you with...My fiancee's father is a minister so yea...I am part of that house more than ever now...But I am not going to let anyone tell me what I need to believe to get myself into whatever kind of heaven they think they are going to initiate me into just because they think they are trying to help get the club into his house started...That club was started wayyyy before any of us were ever thought of being created...Ok...One more thing...I am not being mean in here, I am just stating my opinion like the rest of the net is doing...Do we all really need to argue on this subject?...It is like the Constitution and the War dilema...They always said that all men were created equal but what men were they talking about?...Did they really include the rest of the country in this decision or just the money grubbers up there in office?...And who's freedom are we really fighting for anyways?...They always said they were over there getting killed fighting for our freedom when we were already spose to be free in the first place?...Everyone has their own ways of dealing with things and their own opinions in how and what to believe in...Mine is to just pray and talk to him not to sit in a building that is air conditioned when his was really outside and they wore really no clothes at all and I am told that I can't come to church in blue jeans...When God is spose to accept us all for who we are...The only church I have ever liked was the one that my father-in-law to be preaches at...They speak the truth and not just the word of God in that book that can be sold in any market...The truth is told not sold...

I find it has a lot to do with faith and trust. Just let go and let God.
This just happened to me and I do believe that he hears our prayers and answers them for our highest good.
