I mean what if you weren't raised right? And sought acceptance instead of approval? What if your life was void of consequence? What if you never had to go to church? Or felt pain that would make you a kinder soul? What if tragedy changed your perception? Or chance occasion? What if you were born amongst sinners and couldn't avoid who you've become? I believe if people are to spend their afterlife in Hell then they were doomed from the start...

Well, you answered the question yourself pretty much. Is eternal punishment worth a lifetime of sinning? What is the purpose of punishment when there is no end of punishment?

There's no reason people should go to hell other than to scare people into doing things the way people who know how to use the bible would like them to do things.

God said that everyone will be given a chance in the end and even in your last moments and even after Christs return there is still a chance and it does not matter how your raised at some point someone has or will try to tell you about God after all your here obviously you have already had a knock on the door and you choose to answer or you choose not to either way in the end no matter how your raised you cant blame mommy and daddy for your choices in life because in the end they were your choices not theirs you either choose to wallow in that crap or rise above and be a better person your choice either way

The Bible says that everyone will be taught about God before they die and it is your choice to accept Jesus or not. I've heard stories from foreign tribes that are so far away from being Christian that it's not funny and they said that an angel named Gabriel came and told them about Christ. Gabriel was an angel in the Bible and God sends angels to tell people about Him if his people on earth don't do it. Now there is a thing called the age of accountability. And that is if you are too young to understand about God then you will automatically go to Heaven. And if you are like mentally retarded or something and you can never comprehend it then you will go to heaven because you don't know any better. So if you know about God then you must choose whether or not to accept him and if you don't then you will go to hell. God gives you a choice and he doesn't expect you to tbe perfect even after you get saved and accept Jesus. He will forgive you for anything and at anytime. He has alot of mercy on us. It may be hard at times to live for God but there are great rewards throughout life and especially when you get to Heaven.

Hey Babe we are all "born among sinners" because we are all sinners. We were doomed when sin entered the world, and yes we are all born with that sin nature, that is why God gave us a way to reconnect with him, through the sacrifice HE provided. Why should people go to hell? I know I deserve to go to hell, but praise God that he had enough mercy and compassion on me and look past my faults and send an atoning sacrifice to take my place. He is truly AWESOME

seriously, are you trying to say that people who havent accepted a particular doctrine are going to hell? is it really fair to say they havent been raised "right"? isn't it possible for people to be good people without bowing to one narrow conception of a god? would a truly loving god allow his children to burn eternally? would an all-knowing deity subject those mortals to such a fate knowing they had no choice but to follow that path? wouldn't a merciful god consider these extenuating circumstances you mention? there are flaws in any unwavering defense of church doctrine.

see? bring up religion and we're left with more questions than answers. :)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, angling to stay out of hell is a waste of time.

As for smiling and winking you way into heaven, "not one of you is worth! Not one!"
