Tiyona's, my pom, last two litters all died and her milk came down, she is up to date on her shots and I gave her vitamines as I did with the first litter. Does anyone have any possible reasons this may have happened.

If her milk was bad it would have killed the pups. Bad milk is yellow. Maybe if you had her on a course of antibiotics before she welps next time it would be better. If she does have bad milk do not let the pups nurse. You can get a colostrum supplement for them and you will have to bottle feed the pups (lots of work). If her milk becomes safe (and she hasn't dried up) you can put the pups back on her.

This is probably a sign that she doesn't need to be bred any more.

Of course, if you ignored all the other obvious reasons not to breed her, you might overlook this one, too.

And I have to add more to this...she is TWO YEARS OLD and has already been bred THREE TIMES?

Three times is more than a dog should be bred in her lifetime, and they SHOULD NOT, FOR ANY REASON be bred before they are two years old!

You've overtaxed your dog's young system and I wouldn't be shocked if you've severely shortened her lifespan because of it.

Go get her spayed, NOW.

One reason may be her age. How old was she when she had her first litter?
