Who hasn't performed evil? for the overall public of religions, really the "reliable Will" religions that emerge after the sixth century BC, the reliable they have performed far outweighs the undesirable. human beings merely have a predelection for the detrimental. lengthy and short, there is a few authentic stupidity and evil in the course of heritage, which any real looking human being could reject no remember which faith, political celebration, usa or otherwise perpetrated it. on the different hand, what we see proper this second as an atrocity would no longer were such in yet another historic or cultural era. operating example, proper this second, we justify abortion in accordance to freedom of selection, which may were horrifyingly abhorent to a Crusader who merely helped bloodbath Mulims in Jerusalem. Likewise, our personal cases have produced evils of a value previously unimagined, and maximum no longer on the behest of Christianity or Christians. Certianly, the nuclear attacks on Nagasaki and Hiroshima were no longer subsidized or promoted by ability of Christianity, nor replaced into the invasion of Iraq (inspite of the actual undeniable truth that it really is nuanced). 9/11 replaced into no longer the act of Christians, and mendacity about stem cellular study on the area of a Korean medical specialist replaced into no longer even the outcome of a particular faith. Evil could be adverse, no remember the position that's got here across, and really everyone, of all religions, could be always vigilant adverse to its seduction. Evil, by ability of and tremendous, isn't perpetrated because human beings understand its evil, yet because they imagine they are doing some thing reliable. Pax Oh, and that i attempt to emulate the saints of Christianity, no longer the monsters.

It's always wrong to typecast a particular group of people. You really should have said, why do "some" Christians do evil etc, etc. And more specifically you should have said why do some people who claim to be Christians do evil? If you phrase it like that, then it could turn out that no Christians have ever done anything evil. But that depends on your definition of "evil." Everyone sins, even Christians, it's human nature, but evryone's not evil, and I don't think that there is a single true Christian who is, because people who have faith in God seek the truth and wish to do what is right.

Religion can not and does not produce perfection. None does. Christianity is NOT a religion. It is a relationship between The Risen Christ and an individual believer. No I will not want to be like anyone who goes about perpetuating evil. That is not the legacy of Christ. His testimony is that He went about doing good. So the 'Christians' you are alluding to are not His followers. Many use His name but very, very few truly follow Him. You mentioned History...Well the dating of history is wrap ed around the fact of Him..Before Christ (BC) and after Christ or the Year of Our Lord (AD)

Wait one minute. Christians have not done evil throughout history. That is what satan has done. A satinist knows the bible as well as a feverently bible reading Christian does, and knows how to mislead people that way. You can't say that about Christians who follow the Lord. Many people claim to be christians and are not. They want their "cake and eat it to" They want salavation and a free pass to continue on sinning. It doesn't work that way.
Your post was seriously incorrect. I am a God fearing Christian, and I am also a sinner who strives to better myself each day that the Lord blesses me with. People sin every day, and because they don't study the bible every day, the are not doing things accordinance with the outline in the bible, and sinning every day. No one sin is greater than another. But the biggest part of being a sinner, is failing to admit being a sinner, and failure to ask the Lord for His forgivness. And the lack of being sincere when you do it. God knows your heart, and He knows when you are lying to Him.
The Lord says "Go and sin no more." But we are human and are all sinners. He wants us to make the honest effort and reach out to Him and follow Him every day.

More wars have been started because of religious differences than anything else in history. It seems the faithful have a bit of the warmonger in their blood. Yes the Christians do have a bad habit of trying to push their beliefs on others even to the point of wars and inquisitions. And Catholics are considered Christians.

The bible says, suffer not a witch to live, this is in the old testament and things were dealt with swiftly then, I guess some people thought they were doing what the bible said to do when the witch trials were conducted. I wouldn't condone killing any group of people because they were doing something that was wrong now. Its something that God will have to deal with.

Saying they did evil doesn't make it so. It makes you a liar. You might want to ask yourself if that is the way you want to be.

The truth is that almost everything that is good about the world, came out of christianity. Most of the competing faiths run the gambit from fraudulant (wicca) to downright evil (islam). There are a handful of faiths with alot of true knowledge of how to relate to God. But, christianity is by far the most potent of these.

Also, the reason for your attack on christianity is transparent to almost everyone. You seek to strip people of their faith so that they become vulnerable to the evil of marxism. Unfortunately for you, people are on to you.

No, but I can also look at all the good Christians, and other people of faith have done, and hope to be like them. On any given month of the year our church gives to the food bank, serves supper to the hungry in our community, packs thousands of lbs. of food to be distributed to food banks around the state, sent health kits to victims of the earthquakes in Indonesia, has given thousands of dollars to help victims of disasters around the world...just to name some of the things Christians all over the world do, so try another argument...
