Her hands were tied and she was floating in a river. I never had a chance to vote..but everyone got it wrong. I found out the answer myself...it is a painting called "Le Jeune Martyr" by Paul Delaroche. I really like this painting.

"Depicting the death of a young Christian martyr in the 3rd century A.D. during the reign of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, this painting was completed a year before his death in 1856. Le Jeune Martyre' has been called the 'Christian Ophelia' since it resembles Pre-Raphaelite artists portrayals of Ophelia from Shakespeare's Hamlet. "

I guess your painting is not of a young girl, but a young boy because "le jeune martyr" is for a boy because of "le" if it were a girl it'll be "la jeune martyre"

Interesting. I never heard of this painting. Were the colors really abstract. Was her body distorted or painted true to life? I purchase all of the art for my home at www.art.com. I bet you can find that print there, and they frame it for you as well. My favorite is The Dream by Picasso. But my all time favorite artist is Diego Rivera. He was a Mexican artist. His "Nude with Calla Lillies" is breathtaking. The curvature in the woman's back as she is sitting is a beautiful sight. Diego Rivera was hired to paint the Rockefeller family, and he painted an image of Stalin in the picture. Needless to say, he was fired.I am going to have to check on that painting you mentioned. Now you have sparked my curiousity.
