Their heads aren't usually swollen. ??? Did you mean mishapen?

Sometimes they are mishapen, because of squeezing through the birth canal. The bones in a baby's head are soft and can move to accomodate the birth. The head returns to a round shape a few days after being born.

actually, the baby's whole body is swollen. The baby has been in the womb...in a waterlike substance. The skin absorbs the water, there fore making the baby appear swollen, bu tin a few days it goes down.

the baby's head is not swollen, it is misshaped from being pushed through the birth canal. when a child is born the plates of the skull is not fused so the plates move freely.

It's completely normal. Look at the old saying, 'having a baby is like pushing a watermelon out of a hole the size of a lemon.' It does have some kind of truth to it.

he would be fantastic the swelling could circulate down rather quickly. Its purely from him getting caught and having to have that vacuum situation to pull him out. My buddy had to have her toddler pulled out with forceps and had a bruise on the area of her head for some weeks. If it would not look taking place it is advisable to ask approximately it. it is going to easily approximately be long previous in yet another 2 weeks if its no longer all the way long previous.
