I liked this kid(CK) for a long time in high school and he knew it. He never acted that way toward me. Then i went to prom with another guy. A couple months later i found out that CK had been checking me out in the hall way and everyone said he liked me. Why do boys like someone only after they are jealous

Many people fail to see the value in people or things until someone else notices its value. Also, he may have felt that you were kind of like his pet. Following him around, showing him affection, feeding his ego, etc. But now you are someone else's. So now he wants his pet back because he misses the attention.

Because the boy who's jealous wants the girl that he likes back. Girls do the same thing. Inplus, the guy may not like seeing the girl with another guy.

It's simply human nature honey, we all want what we think we can't have. We love the challenge. If you know you can have it without a fight then it's not as much of an accomplishment. So when they see your not available or your with someone else they seek the thrill of the challenge........ good luck with this one. Personally I wouldn't want a guy who didn't notice me before he thought he had to steal me away from someone else!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever seen a dog ignore a toy but then immediately pick it up and play with it when another dog comes around?

You got it wrong, babe. He liked you first. THEN he got jealous when you took the other guy to the prom. If he didnt like you, he wouldnt have gotten jealous.

i thikn is that guy are jealous after you went to prom with someone.. guy are possesive they only want only them to be in your head... beside now he know that he cant have you, he like the challenge of getting you.....

Because most men, like most women always want what they can't have. Seeing you with another guy made you unavailable in his eyes, therefore he thought he couldn't have you making him want you!!!!!!!!!
