definately you can use the system. get service pack 2 from outside and install first time when u goto microsoft site you will get a page saying microsoft validation is required do u want to continue you MUST select NO there. thenafter you wont get any problem u can work happly on net.

You can"t install sp2 from microsoft update site. Download the sp2 from a licenced os and after that transfer sp2 to your pc and install.

you will not be able to install it, even with a workaround hack it will stop working once you update windows.
