I don't think this has anything to do with communication. I think what it means is that words equal ideas. If we don't have the word, the idea doesn't exist and we are, therefore, unable to explore a concept that can't exist in our own minds.

It is difficult to explore one's world if one does not know the language. I can personally attest to this now that I have taught in China for a term. Great experience, but limited by a sparse knowledge of Chinese.

Perhaps this means the extent of my ability to express myself in words is related to my ability to relate to the rest of the world with concepts that require communication skills? This could be extended to not only one's native langauge; but, also to other human foreign languages including spoken and sign language for the hearing impaired, as well as computer languages for communicating with computers. The concept could be extended further in animal research with such animals as dophins, simians, etc. If human civiliazation ever encounters alien races, the concept could be extended even further.

This could be looked at in different ways, the way I interpret it would be when one is unwilling to learn another language, he is limited to things in the world he can take part in due to his lack of knowledge in different languages.

Everyone can interpret this in their own meaning. Personally I get from it that the world is endless, always having places to go, new things to see... the same as in language. You can always learn something new, see new places with the words that cross your lips.

An advanced understanding of the significance of the relationship of opposite words gives a knowledge to the meaning of our psychological minds and therefore all of human behavior. Some would say to life itself.

IT MEANS IF YOU ONLY KNOW A FEW WORDS YOU CAN NOT CONVERSE WITH THE MAJORITY OF THE WORLD BECAUSE YOU ARE LIMITED. THAT IS WHY YOU SHOULD LEARN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. SO YOU ARE NOT LIMITED.

You can go as far as what you know. Its bases is concept of knowledge of reading and writing. If your reading and writing skills are limited, you can only go around the block!! But if you expand them by reading, you can sail the seven sea!!
