These are two possible majors I'm considering. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight into them and what they entail? Also, how are the classes, in general? What type of job do you want to get with these majors after you graduate? Sorry for all the questions- I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do! Thanks :) I'm putting this in more than one category so I might get more answers...

Working for the Lord not pay very well unless you plan on misleading people for money. SO, the job will be what the Lord lead you to.
Religious Studies work you through a systematic learning of the Bible. Cultures of the times, so you understand things like a man giving you his shoe or Lot offering his Daughters. You learn specifics of every book of the Bible, so, you understand why God do as He do. You may want to learn the Biblical Greek and if you can handle that then learn the Biblical Hebrew. You study some things like Theology, Semantics and other stuff to help you understand the Bible, God, Jesus etc.
Youth Ministry, you study some of the above Basics, Childhood Development, Sociology, Teaching Methods, and some Basic Psychology stuff (I find Debatable). You learn of how Youth Programs are organized and how to utilize the Youth into the Ministry. Missionary work and fun trips to do these things.
There a lot to learn, but, if, you not want a paper to show on the wall, you can forget the State Core Curriculum (Math, English etc.) Just take the MAIN Studies and Regular World History and World Literature you be surprised what these two can do in your Bible Understanding.
I learned and just use the knowledge to teach others what they want to know. As, I said, not much pay, but, I have Peace and Happiness. I guess God/Jesus loves me, that all I really want. Hope this helps you, most Colleges of this type learning are Private and Tuition may be more than a State Funded College. But, there are Grants, Scholarship and Student Loans. I highly advise against getting ANY Student Loans, you do not need this Debt right out of College. Some Colleges do have programs you can work on Campus and make some money, they easy jobs.
