Ha, now that you mention it ,, yeah
My 5th birthday, my gramma is adding finishing touches on my b-day cake, and I walk in to grab something to eat and to make sure that if there is some cream to be licked off I get to it first.
So my gramma sees me, and she goes all like: AWWWWe hey cutie and she gets on her knees (because I was oh-so small) and she hugs me.
My mom made me wear this ridiculous dress shirt that had a collar that was tight as it is; and when my gramma hugged me, she pressed her shoulder against the collar which stopped my breathing,
Next thing I remember is my grampa slapping my face off like 5 times after I woke up.
So I got a glass of water and sat for a while, and I was like: "Didn't you hear me choke"
and my gramma responds "I thought you were laughing"

Yes, I remember playing hide and seek outside where it was always so dark that you had to carry a flashlight to see with. Man just thinking about it makes me smile.
We also had a game piggy wants a signal. There was a can in the middle of the yard and one person would be it and one person would kick the can and everyone would go and hide of course this was at night. when everyone was hiding one person would go and find them and they would have to go and stand at home plate and everyone caught would hollar piggy wants a signal and when they yelled they could go and hide but if the looker was close to the last one it would take awhile for that one to call because they would be heard and found. If you were the finder and no one gave the signal then they knew they were close and kept looking until they found the last one..

I will always remember my Mom's Mom, or our Grandma as we called her, "Sweetpea" being there for all 4 of us girls growing up! She brought up their two, and then helped my parents raise us four girls!! I don't think I would be the person I am today without her help, her love, her talks, her listening, and her guidance. She set such a great example as a Grandma and a Mom!!!! One great memory, of so many, is when my Mom was teaching us all the "proper etiquette" at the dinner table when we were like 11,10,9 and 7 years old, me being the youngest. My Mom was disgusted with us as we were all talking about poop and other bodily functions!!!HAHA!! So there's my Mom putting all her energy into what is proper and all and along comes my Grandma, winks at us and says, "Oh did she teach you about how to play kitty?" We all looked up! "What is that" Our Grandma answered,"It's very proper when milk is spilled on the table, to lick it up like a kitty would!!" Then, she showed us!!!We all remember that, to this day and still laugh at my Mom's reaction, of thanks for the support!!! LOL Best yet, was the laughter and love all of those kind of moments brought from our Grandma!!! Oh how we all miss her!!!

Yes, when I was little the entry way floor made a great sound in my grandfather's apartment and I used to think I could tap dance. I think I was 4 years old then. He used to bounce me on his knee, and played checkers with me, that was a long time ago, he passed away over 20 years ago.

Anne Landers, once said that a grandmother should give a dime to her grandchild everytime they see them. I teased my grandmother about this, so she always gave me a dime when she saw me, or sent me a card. It was our little joke. Once when I went over, she hid in a closet, saying she had no dimes and there was no way she was giving me a quarter! We laughed about that for years until she passed away.

Yes--my favorite would be when my dad took me to a baseball game in extreme heat just so I could get a poster of my favorite baseball player.
