yahoo has a great birthday reminder you can set up. My mind seems to be gone lately!! and I can't seem to remember anything. In yahoo, click on the arrow next to "calender" and then choose 'add birthday'. good luck!

My recommendation is Microsoft Outlook. However, if you are looking for an affordable solution, why not use the Yahoo calendar?
