Yes, according to Hebrews 11:32 - Samson who is one of the heroes of the faith and committed suicide was with the lord. But if you want to know where the Catholic Church stands, read point 2383 in the Catechism and you will see that God has a special place, a remedy for those he loves and who commit suicide.

I have known people who have committed suicide - people that I respected and even Christians and certainly God has the answer for all of our depressions and problems.

He is such a tender, loving savior. Listen to Jesus in John 14:1, “Let not your heart be troubled”, then down to verse 27, Jesus said, “peace, I leave with you. My peace I give unto you - not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid.". You know how you can have peace? Psalm 119:165. “They that love thy word have peace.” It is because we are not in the Book daily. This is our strength and then prayer – Philippians 4:6-7, “Be anxious about nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication let your requests be known unto God and the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind.” You don't have to carry these burdens. Listen again to Jesus in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden with the burdens of life. When you come I will give you rest.” Give the Lord a chance, today. Get into the book and on your knees in prayer.

this scripture is so misquoted it is pathetic, the scripture is found in 1 Corinthians 10:13 and it says " No temptation has seized you except what is common to man, and God is Faithful he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, But when you are tempted he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it....This scripture does not promise us that we will not go through hard times and it does not say that he will not "give us more than we can handle" It deals with temptation and it says that he will provide a way out. And to the person who quoted Acts 15:28 You forgot to give the complete scripture it says (starting where you left off) "not to burden you with anything other than the following requirements You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. you will do well to avoid these things" It is trouble when people only use half of the word, doing so changes the meaning and people believe what is not there.

At 1 Corinthians 10:13 the apostle Paul wrote: “No temptation has taken you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it.”

Corinthians 10:13 states that "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that
you can stand up under it."

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
(Acts 15:28)

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
(1 Corinthians 10:13)

Howmuchistoomuch,

Among many other instances, Allah(SWT) says in the Qur'an:

On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged. 023.062

It also says in the Qu'ran:

We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of possessions, persons, or crops. But give goodness to the patient, those who say when a calamity afflicts them "We belong to Allah, and to Allah we return." They are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord, and mercy, they are the ones who are guided 2:155

So please, do not lose hope. Persist in good deeds and hope for a reward in the Hereafter.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

2:286 God does not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear: in his favour shall be whatever good he does, and against him whatever evil he does. O our Sustainer! Take us not to task if we forget or unwittingly do wrong! "O our Sustainer! Lay not upon us a burden such as Thou didst lay upon those who lived before us! O our Sustainer! Make us not bear burdens which we have no strength to bear! "And efface Thou our sins, and grant us forgiveness, and bestow Thy mercy upon us! Thou art our Lord Supreme: succour us, then, against people who deny the truth!" Holy Quran 2:286

I believe Jesus was talking about a person's spiritual understanding. Many Christians have taken this scripture out of context.

(KJV) Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
(MSG)Joh 16:12 "I still have many things to tell you, but you can't handle them now.
(AMP)Joh 16:12 I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now.

(KJV)Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Remember Jesus is speaking and from what I gather His way is very bearable. So, if we are in the true will of God for our life, nothing will be too great to bear.
