Jokes aside. I've never heard of hard drive shredders. There some software that will permanently delete the contents off the disk, contrary to just manually deleting in windows. Those "deleted" contents are simply marked as an empty space and not actually deleted. Other than that, I don't think there is anything that will destroy a hard drive - like a shredder. Those things are made tough and hard to destroy. The reason is because they have to be sealed well enough so the dust particles would not be able to get in. Also, the hard drives are subjected to a lot of vibration and heat, so they need to be tough to last a while.

there are a number of programs out on the market that will remove files off the hard drive for good just ask at a local computer store and they will know right what you are asking for
