Here's a link to a really good "Long Hair Growing" site. The members all help each other and give advice about what works and what doesn't. I learned to cut my own hair on this site and it came out just the way I wanted it.

Enjoy, and good hair growing ;D

Okay, I have LONG hair, so I'll give you all my tips:

1 Get a wide toothed comb to use after washing and conditioning your hair. NEVER BRUSH WET HAIR. That will only cause split ends, the natural enemy to long hair.

2 Know your own hair type. Is it oily? Dry? Use products designed for your hair type. You will know you're on to it if your hair is really soft and looks good without other products like mouse or gel or pomade in it.

3 Never use scalding hot water to wash your hair. Keep it nice and warm.

4 Use condtioner after every wash.

5 Get a deep conditioner to use once a week. Lots of great ones out there. Pantene, Aussie, Dove.

6 After condtioning, rinse your hair with cool water, as cool as is comfortable enough for you. Cooler than the water you washed it with anyway.

7 Get a good leave-in conditioner to use after every wash to protect your hair.

8 Easy on the hair products, and no regular blow drying or heated irons. These damage the hair, which causes split ends, even if you are super careful. No hair products with alcohol in them!

9 Use only hair elastics without metal. Split ends again. NO RUBBER BANDS!!!!!

10 Unless you get positively dirty, don't wash your hair every single day. It dries the hair out. Can you guess what it causes?

11 Home treatments like coconut oil and mayonaise are good to try. Models have used them for years.

12 Chemicals for perming and straightening and beaching also damage the hair, so stay away from those, too.

And be prepared to spend time on maintenence. Some girls spend alot of time on their hair, but it took me longer to style my short hair than to brush my long hair. It's not for everyone, either. I only get my hair cut once every 2 or 3 months, though, and I get about an inch off every time. I've been going shorter lately though. Apparently there's much more trimming going on than I do. Well, good luck!

Having a short hair is not that bad, you see, i have a prety long hair, my friends used to ask me what my secrets are in growing it.. a trimming of 2 inches every 2 or 3 months helped my hair grow long faster, HONESTLY!!! don't use blow dryers or visit the salon for hair treatments, because chemicals can damage your hair and might prevent it from growing fast, brush your hair before going to bed and in the morning;)

First of all you should have a balanced meals.

Try not to use products that contains natural ingredients.

Hair shampoo and creams could help in styling and shining the look of hair, but actually it doesn't help much in growing and keeping a healthy hair.

Trim a very little of the edge of hair once every one month.

Keep healthy as much as you can.

Good luck.

get your hair trimmed every 2-4 weeks. many people who complain that there hair doesn't grow is because they think if they never get it cut it will grow, but the ends get dried out and break off, therefore, it's like your hair never grows, keep it healthy. Good Luck!

good luck.
All my life I wanted long hair and couldn't grow it. I have very thick fine hair. longest it ever goes is to my shoulders. good luck
My daughter can grow her hair down to her waist. She eats properly and uses conditioner. But does nothing special. The thickness of the hair has a lot to do with it.

With patience. Hair grows faster in summer, but it is still slow. Make sure you keep your hair clean without damaging it and eat a healthy balanced diet.

There really is nothing you can do to get it to grow faster. Just get a tiny trim every six weeks and you will notice healthier and longer hair. I know it sounds weird but it works.
