I too am the youngest of four and even after 34 years they still depend on me. I am the responsible one, the one with a great career, money, and a house all my own. I went to college and followed my dreams, I moved away from my home town. They will always depend on you my dear because you are a leader. You're an old soul even though you are the youngest of your family. Your brother and sister see your potential and look up to you. What should you do? Follow your dreams! You are special and know that your siblings will always adore you.

I feel you -- I am the youngest of four. Now we are all grow and my siblings always call on me and my husband every time they need anything, but if I need something no one is ever avaliable. So I have decided to stop making myself so available unless it is really important

Encourage them to take care of themselves. If they want you to do things for them, tell them you will help, or teach them how to do it, but make them do the actual task. Show them step by step if you have to. It takes longer and more effort to teach kids how to do stuff instead of just doing it for them, but it is more helpful and caring to teach them to do things for themselves. I hope this helps. You were not very clear with your question.

stop being a crutch to them...sometimes we think by doing we are helpin, but really we are causing that person to fail because they cannot do it on their own.

Be there for them always, but don't let them drain you. I love when siblings stick together!

that only tells me one thing that you are responsible. If you don't want to help them then tell them that it's about time they can do things for themself
