It is all that is left unsaid upon which tragedies are built.
It is hard to tell people how we feel, but life is fluid and a change could happen and the opportunity could be taken from you...perhaps forever.
Remember that this girl is your friend, and as such she should be understanding of your feelings...even if she does not share them, but you never know, she just might.
Being scared to say something is normal, and understandable. Once you say something you can't take it back. And you are bearing you feelings for her to see with no idea how she will react. The good thing is fear is in the mind, and so all it takes is a strong mind to conquer it. You will learn the truth and you can move from there, whereas now you are in a kind of Limbo.
As for how to tell her. That's tricky, you are the one who knows your friend, we don't. Is it normal for the two of you to have coffee or just hang together? If so a familiar thing like that could be best. Ease her into it, feel the eddies of the conversation and trust your feelings.
There is no other way to do it. Sometimes good things happen and sometimes bad things happen, but if you chicken out...then nothing will happen.

u should tell her how u feel or she may never realize that u really do like her. i was in a similar situation before except i was the girl in ,love w/ my Friend. some advice for u is u should tell her " i love you" and see how she reacts to that if she says it back then ask her if she loves you in a girlfriend/bf way or in A friend way. if she doesn't say it back or looks extremely shocked then say " joking" or just tell her that u wanted to see what her reaction would be. if she doesn't love u back then knowing how she feels may help u to let go of her. or if u don't want to tell her that u love her then u could tell her that u had a dream with her in it and in your dream the two of u were dating . after doing that u could ask her if she thinks that that would ever happen or ask her what she thinks about ur dream .

Don't let love pass you by. Since you are shy, write her a love letter or poem, and she'll see how you really feel about her. You have nothing to lose. The best romances have started out as simply friendships.

Well u have to look at 2 ways! If she don't feel the same u may risk losing a friend! but life is too short not to tell her how u feel! So go for it and tell her!! Honesty is best!! Good luck and i hope for the best!!

When ur both alone just tell her if u don't another guy will who cares (tell ur self this) i love her and she needs 2 know.
just think afterwards she'll know and her heart'll elate.
be a true man and tell her how u feel.

hey man i just wanna say that im having the exact same problem as you! i would like to know as well but like everyone says, talk to her, have fun wit her, ask her out, etc. its easy for me to say that but not actually do it. i just cant do anything. I really like this one quote "Don't think, just do." i really like that quote cause its true. you dont want to think about what to do, just go up to her and go wit a flow and say wat ever comes to mind. Do that cause you say your gonna do this and that and when your actually around her you dont do what you said you were gonna do. So just do it.

Well, it isn't easy to tell someone how you feel, especially not knowing how they feel, or how they will react. Remember this though, there is never a guarantee of tomorrow, Tell them how you feel now, at least they will know.
