You should know in about three dates if that person is someone you should continue to see...And or wish to start a so called relationship with them ....There is no particular time period to stay with someone before breaking up with them....But generally if things start to go sour the sooner the better for both of you....Remember, if you are not having a good time , makes some calls and find out who is and make the necessary arrangements....

If the relationship isn't clicking then get out as fast as possible. Why keep the person hanging on? Both of you could be out there having a great time with someone else you really connect with! Don't waste each other's time. Be an adult, end it straight up, face to face, honestly and give as much dignity to the person as you can.

what a silly question. there is no prescribed length you should go out with someone for, if theres nothing wrong in the relationship then don't end it, if there is then maybe consider breaking up but have a good long think first

As long as there are still possibilities for a future. When you decide they aren't the right one for you it's time to break up.

If you are in Love then no question of break up arises but if you are flirting, then you can break up any moment. But if you gf or bf is serious about you then please give a serious though before you decide to break up. Because if you are fickle minded, you should not hurt anyone.

There is no time limit. When it's over it's over and the most decent thing to do is break up immediately otherwise you are being dishonest. Being with that person and no wanting to be is deceit.

You should break up with anyone who says they wanna be your girlfriend because you're just gonna use and abuse them . You already know that any gurl that would even date you is a total grubber so just forget about the whole scene , dude.

Well this has nothing to do with time, if you are dating just to be casual, let them know, you may make a lifelong friend. If you don't have feelings for this person, don't wait, get it over with so you can both get on with your lives.
