Seriously, it should be enforced that some women must get their tubes tied! I hate seeing people with 7 children walking around pregnant and just getting more and more welfare and not getting a job. It's sickening. Or women that have 10 abortions or people that have their kids taken away by cps and then have more kids and keep being pieces of crap doing drugs and having their kids taken away again and then having even more kids! It's not right, there should be a law about it!

Good question. Because you can always get your tubes UNtied again when your really ready for a kid. In the meantime it just adds to the already too-high population. A lot of insurance companies actually cover getting your tubes tied.

The same reason that the state won't automatically grant full custody to a fit father who leaves his self destructive wife. But think of the other side. What if the government was allowed to sterilize whoever they wanted, that could potentially cause even more problems.

Unfortunately it's a right to reproduce. I agree that there are times when they should have their tubes tied. But unfortunately, they have the right to do that. Some people just won't take responsibility for their own actions and think that the government owes them a living (welfare payments). But how do you force people to be responsible?

yeah i think they should do that but the world is so screwed up.. it's usually the peple who really want a child that can't have one, but at least these kids that are being giving up by these unfit mothers are adopted to loving families.

Because they need to learn NOT TO GET KNOCKED UP IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
we as taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for someone else not knowing how to use a condom. You can get them free down at planned parenthood..
Its horrible to think that we as a society of sexually advanced people, we are told through commercials and movies to have safe sex...yet people don't get it.. And if they don't get it, I will be damned if I will fund, using MY taxes for them to have surgery so they can spread more diseases...-shrugs-
They can piss off for all I care...
