Not really. Try weighing yourself with your normal amount of clothes (shirt, jeans, shoes) and then again without anything. For me, it usually shows less than a 1.5 lb difference.

Yes, clothing makes a difference on the scale. It could be the difference of 5 to 15 lbs. The best way to get an accurate weight step on the scale naked,if possible. The other method is water submersion test.

It is a test that places you in a tank of water, while sitting on a special scale and you have to exhale all the air out of your lung for 30 seconds. It will then tell you exactly what your weight is and give you a body fat percentage.

if u are wearing heavy clothing then yes it does make a difference. but don't blame the clothing if you think you are supposed to be 100 lbs. but end up being 120. it's not the clothing...it's you. lol. clothing usually adds about 1 pound at the most to the scale.

Depends on what clothes--if you're wearing heavy boots and parka, scarf, hat, underclothes and other clothes on top, it can be some serious weight. If you're dressed relatively normally, you can figure about 4 pounds with your shoes off.

It depends how suicidal you are feeling. Are you going to burst if you see that extra 4 lb. or can you live with it. I mean some people might be okay with 400 lbs. but not 404 lbs.

Yes, it does. A pant, some shoes, and a belt can put a good 10+ lbs on you.
