I happily gave up everything I had.
Career and job didn't really seem that important anymore.
All my friends have left me, saying that he was a Loser.
I figured that my happiness was far more valuable than my belongings. Geez, I had a convertible sports car and a $$$$ stereo once. :-)
I was willing to give up my life for the man...I eventually married.
That was six years ago.
I still worry about money and think about all the things I lost. How fickle human beings are. But I am still incredibly in love. If love was easy and free to get without any sacrifice, it would be that much easier for you to let it wilt and die. Love was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Love issued me a license live out my life like the drama queen I always wanted to be. In doing so, I have become totally free of all associations and society-imposed restrictions.
The thing that I've learned was that if you are willing to sacrifice everything for love, nothing else really bothers you anymore. You are not afraid anymore of anything that comes your way.
Believe it.

If it was TRUE and UNCONDITIONAL love, then there would be no reason to give up anything other than the single life. If it is unconditional then why would you have to give up anything? There are no conditions which must be met in order to love this person or receive their love back.

You only live once! Take for instance myself, I'm young and very talented when it comes to my music. My fiance constantly sits in fear of my big break. I have a one year old daughter who i call my princess. I've been doing music for over 7 years struggling! Now picture my big break coming tommorow. The Fame! The Money! Everything my heart desires... the shows, constantly being on the road.. Months has passed and finally my girl come to me saying she can't take it no more the loneliness and more. I love her to death but... Would I give up everything for love? That question can only be answered when the situations arise.

No becuase love should give up everything for me. In other words, if it is real-true-make you sing a song thats not playing on the radio- make you notice a purple flower in a field kind of love, then it wont make you sacrifice, everything will be natural.

True love is unconditional and doesn't ask for impossible sacrifice.

People spend their whole lives in search of love (and if you say you don't then you're a liar)..sometimes it doesn't matter if you have to move or shave your head bald (that's a joke) but I know if it's true love, you'll go where they go...it's just what you do - it's give and take.

Thats what i did, but i am left heart-broken now.So, the lesson learnt is, NEVER do it. You come first then the rest of the world. So love yourself more than others. All the best.

If I was in that position, I'd probably think differently, but right now...No, I wouldn't give up my life for one person. Because if he really loved me, he'd be a PART of my life, not ALL of my life.
