I work out between 3 and 5 times a week for 45mins - 60mins.
Sometimes I really can't be bothered and can go a week or two without doing a single thing, and I do feel as though I am gaining weight even though I cut back on my eating. Is this in my head coz I'm feeling lazy or does it really only take 1 or 2 weeks to lose definition and out weight back on?

If you are working out that much, your body has developed some muscle. Unless you are weight training, it's not a lot of muscle, but if you are thin, you are pretty lean.

If you aren't working out and don't adjust your eating, you may put on a little weight right away, but your body will adjust in the short run. However, if you don't use the muscle, you lose it, and muscle burns calories 24 hours a day. Eventually, you will lose enough muscle to make a difference, and you'll put on fat.

I read a study about dancers in college. Over the summer, the dancers were asked to limit their exercise. In just two months, they gained an average of 5/8 inch on their waistline. Their bodies stored energy in the muscle tissue, and over the summer that energy went to tummy fat.

For me I can feel the difference within a week and a half without exercising. I feel the tone of my muscles start getting squishy. I don't think it takes 2 weeks to lose everything you worked out for, but I guess it is like taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

You know I'm kind of like you. The longest I went was 2 months and I didn't gain any weight, but my muscle tone was non-existent.

I think because you keep a good exercise regimen a 1 to 2 week break won't do anything. Its probably in your head.

YOUR HOROSCOPE QUESTION....first off it wouldnt let me put my answer there i'm not sure why...so heres what I think...
Honey that's a trait in all people...I am a Pisces female and have done plenty of research on my "horoscope" and we're actually compatible with everyone, were the last sign and that means were a mix of all signs...but if you really want to know who your compatible with (especially the guy in question) go to Astro.com that is an amazing site, it will ask you for the time, date and location of where you were born, all of that is important because you are a combination of signsm and how the planets were aligned at your birth (and his) place a very important part...so anyway do your homework...and go with your gut as well.

yes, when you stop exercising, you pile on pounds because your calorie intake isn't sweated off. It depends on what you eat too, if you ate salads and veggies, you wouldn't gain weight like you with burgers and fries.

When you work out your metabolism gets faster, so it will probobly take twice as long as you worked out (weeks) to for your metabolism to slow down.
