The schools in my neighborhood are good. The elementry school is a California Distinguished School and has good test scores. The Jr. High is ok. The high school is a top notch school. They have won science and academic awards. I am planning to send my child to them. I am a teacher in a neighboring district.

We seem to have a good school system in our neighborhood. My son is in the gifted and talented program and they really are challenging their young minds. I'm happy with our schools.

the schools in my neighborhood really suck they dont have the special programs that some kids need they have to be shipped to a diffrent school for these programs and they have very little knowledge of whos disabled physically and mentally they cant tell the 2 apart if your child is physically challenged the automatically exspect them to be mentally challenenged as well!! as i was saying we have very poor education department such as the areas school district.

Palm Beach Co,Fl. public schools as a whole a terrible. And from what I'm told the rest of Florida isn't much better and the FCAT(Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test) is a joke.

I am a librarian and have also taught school. I think the schools in my state place too much emphasis on "fun". If getting there is fun that is OK, but the end result should not be fun. It shoud be knowledge.That is not happening here.

The publice school system is adequate. There are several charter schools with have varying degrees of excellency, and the private high schools are phenomenal.

im not a big fan of the public middle schools but the high schools and elementary schools are awsome

Darn good. If you can't get a good education there it is YOUR problem NOT theirs. A FREE, quality education is one of the greatest blessings a country can offer it's citizens.

Not good enough for my kids. My kids are homeschooled. Too much violence, even in the elementary schools.
