Regarding Trinity, Quran says those who say God is one out of three has indeed disbelieved the truth, Quran do not say all Christians. The verse is
"Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one Allah, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve. " Quran 5: 73.
Quran also says all Christians are not alike
"They are not all alike. Of the People of the Scripture there is a staunch community who recite the revelations of Allah in the night season, falling prostrate (before Him). " Quran 3:113.
So how much close a person is towards original teaching of Jesus, he is that much closer to truth. Quran says Jesus clearly mentioned of the coming of prophet Mohammed, so it is up to them to believe in him if they follow Jesus.
Even though currently all Christians denominations do not believe that Jesus is God, I understand that they do believe Jesus is son of God. They believe Jesus was the first creation and was with God, before all the creation. Muslims believe this is not true.

Don't talk crap on the Triforce! The Trinity is one God, and not three Gods. Also, there are no Christians that believe Jesus is not God. They worship Christ (aka God) (Hence the name). The bible does teach the trinity. Look for the word father, son, or ghost. If you see one of these, but not the others, check the same verse in the New American Bible. This is the American English version of the oldest Christian bible. Whenever one of those words is used it is likely in reference to or a simile to the Trinity. Also, I have never heard of a Christian group that doesn't believe in the Trinity (many don't stress it though). The Trinity means that God is the Father, God is the Son, and God is the Holy Spirit. He's all three at once, but not part one and part another. He's fully all three. Christians worship Christ, because he IS God (both fully God and fully man), not just a prophet. The Muslims believed Jesus was a very smart prophet...but not God. There are two types of Christians, Catholics (Catholic and Greek Orthodox) and Protestants (Lutherans, Presbetyrians, "Christians", Baptists, Methodists, Evangels, Episcopalians, and on and on). It doesn't take much to start up a church. Since it isn't a Catholic church, it's a protestant type. All of these that I've listed all believe in the Trinity.

Christians believe in the trinity because the bible does teach us this. Our God is a triune God, although the bible does not call it this. The name is implied and the concept is taught. Jesus is the Son of God, his biological Father is the Spirit of God, or The Holy Spirit, our spirit which is a part of each one of us makes up whom we each are, same way for God, He has a Spirit too. We are made in his image this way. Jesus is born of man, man back then is general term applying to humans. Jesus was born of Mary. So Jeus is also the Son of Man. The trinity is God the Father, God the Spirit, and Jesus. Nothing comes above the God the Father, Jesus is God in the Flesh, because of whom His Father is. Three parts to God the Father, all have different functions, all are to be worshiped either together or separately depending on your heart or need. Those that are truly Christian except the bible and its teaching, for it is God inspired. We do believe in the trinity.

Sounds like you're asking two questions in one.
First, yes, the Quran does teach the Christian god is a trinity--and also that Jesus is supposedly part of that,
It states that because it is true. At least in the Lutheran Church, anyway. I was taught the example of the apple as a child to understand the tri-head but singular god idea. Basically it comes down to seeds, flesh, and covering (the three parts) all make one (whole) apple. The seeds alone don't make it, no one part does, but all three together do.
The Quran teaches the Christian god is triune because that's how it was at the beginning of the split between Judiasm, Christianity, and the Muslim faiths.

I am not too sure about this but I read somewhere in the Quran that their god condemned Christians because their god said that Christians worship 3 gods - Father, Jesus and Mary.
First of all, there has never been a time that Christian worship 3 gods. Christians worship the Trinity (3 persons in One Godhead) which is ONE GOD.
Secondly, their god got it all wrong - since when was Mary worshipped as god in the history of Christiandom, Roman Catholic or otherwise?

To answer your question I have to let you know that at Saudi Arabia at the time of prophet there was a littile understanding about the Christianity on contrary to the Jewism. That's why most of the rules and regulation have been copied from Jews since Muhammad intended to show that he is following the previous prophets. However, Muhammad did not have enough resources on Christianity so Quran mentions a few stroies from Bible. Having said all that, trinity is almost the most accepted belief amongst chrsitians and Jesus is considered as God on earth so muhammad was not so wrong after all.

Sorry for the copy and paste, but the Truth will set you free. I didn't have time for biblical quotes
Within Christianity, the doctrine of the Trinity states that God is a single Being who exists, simultaneously and eternally, as a perichoresis of three persons (personae, prosopa): Father (the Source, the Eternal Majesty); the Son (the eternal Logos or Word, incarnate as Jesus of Nazareth); and the Holy Spirit (the Paraclete or advocate). Since the 4th Century AD, in both Eastern and Western Christianity, this doctrine has been stated as "One God in Three Persons," all three of whom, as distinct and co-eternal "persons" or "hypostases," share a single Divine essence, being, or nature.

Nowhere in the Bible can the word "trinity" be found. It is merely the adoption of previously existing pagan beliefs that were grafted on to the way. As foretold by Jesus, the end will not come unless the apostasy comes first.

the trinity is an integral part of christianity, as i understand it. most christians do believe in it. u say there are some who don't, i have yet to come across one, but even if they don't believe that jesus is god, they still think of him as god's son and that can also be interpreted as shirk.
