Was it your first time? If so, it was probably just your nervous system getting slightly overloaded (and this is not a bad thing! Feels good!) The fact that you experienced an orgasm says a lot. First of all, it says that whatever your boyfriend did, he needs to keep doing it. Whatever it was, it had the desired effect. I can only assume that he also had an orgasm? If both of you enjoyed it, you both were satisfied, don't complain. There are lots of people(especially women) who have never experienced an orgasm. A lot of times it's because the man doesn't take the time to make sure that the woman is satisfied(this puts them in the same catagory as men who don't consider a woman's opinion as valuable....SELFISH).
