People who claim Jesus is going to return do not know what they are talking about.
Either Jesus has been here and gone, or he was a liar and isn't ever coming back:
"This generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place" (Matthew 24:34, Luke 21:32)
("these things" referring to his return)
"Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who shall not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom" (Matthew 16:28, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27).

Thanks for the question. He is the Son of God and he can do anything. He chose to die for our sins in order to open the gates of Heaven to us ... he paid our randsom... which was his "mission" and once it was done he returned to his Father where he has only left those who don't believe or have faith. He left us with the third part of the Holy Trinity (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit)... the Holy Spirit which is still with us at all times. They are one in the same, so Jesus in human form is expected to return according to Revelations, but he really did not leave us and no doubt loves us since we have been allowed to exist only by His grace and will.

if the bible is a story book to u then y do u ask about it?
well anyway Jesus left because he defeated death by dying on the cross so we wouldn't have to pay for our sins. he died aand he rose from the dead. after he met with his disciples he rose up in the heavens by clouds
: the reason why he left is because he wanted his disciples to tell everyone in the world about him and GOD. After Jesus left fire was placed on the disciples heads. they began to speak in tounges and other languages. they left their country adn spread across the east they told other tribes and other countries about Jesus. God and Jesus wants as many people as he can to come to him. so he doesn't leave a whole of people behind.

You have answered your own question. You already know in your heart where the answers of truth lie but you say you refuse to read the Bible. Yes, Jesus can do everything, well, except for force you to trust in Him. here is what you need to know.
What God did...
Think of it this way... Imagine you're in a courtroom again, you're guilty of many serious crimes. The judge says, "It's a fine of $500,000, or prison." You don't have anywhere near that amount of money, so the bailiff begins to walk you out of the courtroom when someone you don't even know appears. He runs up to the judge with a check and says, "I've paid the fine for you." Now that the fine has been paid, the law no longer has any hold on you. You're free -- because of the gift you were given.
This is what God did for you by sending Jesus to die on the cross in your place. So that you wouldn't have to go to Hell, God sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross -- suffering the punishment that justice demands. Then He rose from the grave, forever defeating death! The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) If you will repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus, God says he will forgive all your sins and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Just like the court case we just talked about, if you repent (that means to confess and forsake your sins) and put your trust in Jesus, then you will not have to suffer God's justice in Hell because the payment for your crimes was made by Jesus on the cross.
If you're not sure what to pray, read Psalm 51, and make it a model for your prayer. The words are not "magical," what God cares about is the attitude of your heart. When you pray, it should sound something like this, "Dear God, I repent of all my sins, such as (name them). I put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord (to say Jesus is your Lord means you are now making Jesus the master over your life) and Savior. Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
Now read your Bible daily, and obey what you read. God will never let you down.
What should you read? We suggest that you start in the book named "John," and then read the one named "Romans." Whatever you decide to read, make sure you read every day.

Hey, I saw Jesus in a music video, he was singing I will Survive.~Jesus Christ borned a normal human being, but throughout the years he was enlightened in the process of compassionate. As an enlightened being, how can you say He left? He is always residing within millions of hearts. That's where he is. ;)

"I must go, so I can send another helper. This helper was the Holy Spirit. Jesus, in his human being, could not be everywhere at once. The Holy Spirit can. People praying in one nation can pray with Him, as well as another nation across the earth.
The holy Spirit witnesses of Jesus.

He hasn't actually left. His Spirit is everywhere, but since you won't read the Bible, what can I say? I'll pray for you, for the understanding to know His Spirit.
