You can find the manual online...search google and put in the model number of the machine you are looking for...ie, vcr, dvd player, stereo, t.v. etc...most manuels are online somewhere and will have the codes for you. Or you can get a universal remote and a booklet will come with it..in it will be codes. Good luck. ~J~ <><

i have a universal remote control manual maybe the codes on this can help what brand of t.v do you have? Or the brand of the device you want the remote to control

We went to the store and found one like ours. Opened the package,(it was just a cardboard box, no plastic) and wrote the codes down for the type of T.V. that we have.

Take it to Radio Shack . They will look it up on their computer and give you the specs on it. any make or model
