you guys just say you are save from hell, there is more to it than that. Jesus came to save us from our sins, not to save us from hell, the reason we would go to hell is for the sins we have done. there needs to be a change in your life, is there? what sin have you repented from that God took away?

I am saved, saved from a life of disobeying my parents, disrespcting the ones who have authorty over me, hiting my brothers constantly, all these and other sins were in my life before i got saved, this is what i am saved from. the fact that i will not go to hell is a side thought compared to what has changed in my life. so what has changed in your life?

cocoa girl has the best answer so far, there needs to be some works in it and there needs to be a change in your life. if you just say you are saved "from hell" then you need to realy look at your life and ask yourself "am i saved?" because you dont show a change in your life.

I would say that you need to read the book Believing Christ. You can buy this book at Deseretbook.com. To live with God again we must be sinless. So by his mercy, if we choose to accept Christ in our lives he will forgive us of our sins. But to satisfy justice, we must do all that we can do to be perfect....now this is impossible b/c we are human and it's not possible to be perfect, so this is where the mercy comes in. No one can just say, I believe in Christ and be saved.....there must be works. i.e. trying to be good and repenting....for the rest of our lives. Just read the book and have hope :)

Practically, most sins seem to relate to selfishness. Legally, we're saved from the penalty of sin--eternal death, separation from God, etc.

I am saved from spending eternity in hell. I am saved from being thrown in a lake of fire. I have been saved from a life of misery and unhappiness.

I'd befriend the Predator and get him to support me out. Failing that it could ought to John McClane as he has had earlier revel in dealing with terrorists. Sorry however Howard the Duck simply would not reduce the mustard in a hindrance like that (thank you for the reminder of that film despite the fact that - I have not visible it in approximately two decades!!!)

I have been saved. I am saved from death. I will live forever with God. We are all sinners, but Jesus died on the cross to forgive them.
