To understand the relationship between Jesus and God the Father, maybe we should look at the human family. I am a father, I have a son. Because I am the father and he is the son, is he any less a man that I am? Is he any less a human than I am? I have authority over my son because he submits to my authority even though he has a free will. I am not comparing myself to God of course. All authority was given to Jesus by God the Father. Jesus and God the Father are in total agreement and harmony.

Even if all the things you say are valid -- and not all of them are -- you seem to be saying that there are limits on God's power.

For instance, you seem to be saying that God, in the person of the Son, cannot follow commands (Jn 14:31, 15:10). You don't seem to understand that God the Son is obedient, and that one reason for that is to teach us an unforgettable lesson about obedience.

As for John 14:28, you're failing to realize that Jesus was teaching us a lesson in humility. If He could be humble before the Father, then obviously, so should we.

You also seem to be saying that God, in the person of the Son, is incapable of human virtues such as obedience and humility. You seem to be saying that God isn't really God unless He's wielding power and being almighty and all that.

Of course, God is fully capable of wielding power and being almighty -- but He's also capable of much more than that. You seem to be placing limits on God's capabilities, including His capability (and willingness) to be humble and subservient in the person of the Son.

Each of the persons of the Trinity brings different qualities to us, and each is capable of them all.

What's your point? Jesus was and is all of those things. When He was on this earth, He conducted Himself as a human. Duh?
Look, I don't bash your religion here or anywhere else. Nor do I go around trying to convert people. I could say many things about Islam, however I respect that most Muslims are peace-loving, devout people. Could you return the favor please?
